Kent's Number One Vegan Social Event, Plants & Pints, returns for October with a Halloween special!
What's so Halloweeny about it, I hear you ask? Well, this month we have a returning guest: none other than the wonderful Dr Corey Lee Wrenn, who will be joining us to tell us all about her latest project, Vegan Witchcraft. Alongside her book, Corey has also launched a YouTube channel which will explore the topic as the seasons change. Subscribe here: https://www.youtube.com/@VeganWitchcraft
As usual our social event is completely free of charge, but if you wish to order food we have an amazing 100% vegan menu available. Please mark yourself as 'going' if you're intending to come along, as it helps us to plan (you'll be contacted before the event for your food pre-order). Although the social is an evening event, the full vegan menu will be available from midday.
Children are also welcome to attend, with no curfew time, and there will be some kid-friendly menu options. This is also a dog friendly venue, so please feel free to bring your doggie companions along.
PAY-IT-FORWARD: not everyone is able to afford to go out for the evening, even once a month. We understand this, and want this event to be as accessible as possible, so the idea is that guests can donate a £5 or £10 token to the pot, which will then be available for anyone to use to buy food or drink on the night. Availability is, of course, not guaranteed.
We look forward to seeing you all on the 28th!
