Little Leaves is a stay and play group for under 5's (though we're flexible on age as long as the activities we offer suit your child)
We met on Tuesdays and Fridays 10-12. We meet in private woodland in Woodchurch, which is absolutely stunning.
This event is for our Friday group 🍃
Every week the activities on offer include the mudkitchen, book nook, hammocks, snack time, and we always end with singing. In addition to that we have activities that change every week and include using tools to make woodland craft, sensory or messy play, learning about nature, doing things to help protect and look after our planet. Sometimes we have a theme based on a book or imaginative themes such as pirates.
There's also a baby area and babies from birth are welcome along, there's no charge for pre-crawling babies or for adults. And as long as you all fit in one car as many adults can come as you'd like. We have a range of parents, grandparents, childminders and friends bringing children along.
There's always free hot drinks that adults can help themselves to, and children get snacks and drinks free of charge too. And unlike other children's groups where you just sit next to other adults, at Little Leaves you can really get to know each other; we've had some life long friendships start at our groups.
Early bird ticket prices equate to £8 a session, these are strictly limited, full price term tickets are £10 a session and drop in tickets are £12. We offer discounts for families with more than one child, as well as our pay what you can and free is fine tickets that are known as Forest School Hug tickets.
