Appledore Classic Car Show

Once again the Appledore Classic Car Show in 2024 surpassed all previous years by every measurement. More lovely vehicles on display more enthusiasts visiting the show more clubs stalls and entertainment. Thank you all so much for your support.

Funds generated from the show continue to enable us to upgrade the Recreation Ground Pavilion and Childrens’ Playground in the centre of the village.

The definition of the show continues to evolve as more cars become Classics. Not only do we welcome 1920-30’s Bentleys Fords Lagonda’s Morgans Austins Reily’s etc but we see a ‘younger’ enthusiast proudly displaying 1970-80’s Ford Capri’s Rovers Porsche’s etc which many of us remember from our youth but which are now considered Classics.

Our show is organised by the Appledore Recreation Ground Management Committee whose tireless work creates one of the largest events less formal and more fun on the Classic Vehicle calendar in the South-East of England.

However all this could not be possible without the generous support of many volunteers and local businesses. Of course we would not have such a successful show without YOU and the dedication of the enthusiasts who maintain the beautiful cars motor bikes stationary engines commercial agricultural military vehicles many of whom we have the pleasure of meeting year after year.
