Rainbow Exodus

Rainbow Exodus is a solo performance created and performed by Karol Matuszak and directed by DE Co-Artistic Director Travis Coe. Rainbow Exodus premiered at our Farm Center in 2022, at a moment when “LGBT-free zones” were appearing across municipalities and regions of Poland—public declarations that LGBTQ+ people were unwelcome. From this charged landscape emerges one man’s journey to break free from the confines of his conservative upbringing, setting out from his homeland in search of a place where he can live openly and wholly, without hiding.

Following each performance, there will be a respondency with the creative team.

CONTENT ADVISORY:
Rainbow Exodus includes content about sexual abuse. The performance contains leaves, dirt, and strobe light effects. Performed in Polish with English subtitles.

Ticket Prices:

• $25 - Supported Ticket - A ticket that helps to make art more accessible from a financial lens for those for whom the past ticket prices have been a barrier
• $40 - Standard Ticket - A ticket that is the standard General Admission price for tickets in the past
• $75 - Pay It Forward Ticket - A ticket that is supporting ticket accessibility for those with financial barriers
