Argentine Tango every Tuesday at the Urban Orchard!!!
Intermediate class: 6-7pm
Beginner class: 7-8pm
Dance: 8-930pm
Teachers: Mary Morgan and Mike Eblen
No partner required, drop ins always allowed, and no experience needed for the beginners class. $10-$30 suggested fee for the whole night to fund the teachers, organizers, dj’s, and snacks.
We do run the beginners class in a rotating 6 week series. Come anytime! If you do drop in the middle of the series, be ready to have fun, but be patient with yourself, and keep coming back for the beginning of next series.
Cash bar. Light snacks provided.
ATTIRE:
Please wear comfortable loose clothing with shoes that are not rubber on the bottom. They need to be able to slip, slide, and pivot. Suede or leather bottom shoes work best. I have also seen folks use duct tape, adhesive felt, or socks until appropriate shoes are found. Consider carrying your clean dance shoes into the venue so that they do not get wet or bring dirt onto the dance floor. Please be very mindful of personal hygiene as we are in very close embrace when dancing tango. No artificial or strong perfumes or colognes. Masks are optional.
