Present Moment Awareness: The Heart of Your Teaching with Joe Taft

What is the most important aspect of your teaching? What is the most important thing in your life? Your level of presence! This training we go right to the source of what really matters the most in your teaching. We will use Eckhart Tolle's seminal work to guide our weekend. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle is a modern day masterpiece that aligns beautifully with ancient yogic teachings. Tolle’s message focuses on Being in the Now, or what is often called the ‘present moment’. When we learn how to cultivate presence, we paradoxically open ourselves to a deeper understanding of the past and a clearer picture of the future. Over the weekend we will go deep into breath work and meditation. This weekend is a training but also a deepening of your own practice.

Instructor Joe Taft has spent years studying, contemplating, and practicing Tolle’s powerful teachings and will share how this work connects to long-standing tenets of ancient wisdom. In this engaging workshop you will experience the Power of Now through focused discussions about yogic philosophy and through grounding practices including breathwork, meditation, yoga nidra and asana.
