Joe Troop's Truth Machine + Daniel Ullom/Emma Rast @ the Cork & Keg

Join us for a kick-off to the Memorial Day Weekend with two terrific acts!
First up is the duo featuring Emma Rast and Daniel Ullom. They are talented multi-instrumentalists who have each spent years trading fiddle tunes and learning songs with friends and family from around the country. The two met at a rowdy late night kitchen jam session and the duo carries on that spirit, making music that is fun, immediate and heartfelt. Their performances weave together fiddle, guitar, mandolin and candid vocals, creating an intimate backdrop that allows the music to speak for itself.

Over the years, Joe has carved himself a niche as an “artivist,” entwining music and social justice. He has now recruited some of his favorite festival friends from the oldtime and bluegrass scene to form a political protest powerhouse, the Truth Machine:
