Our vision is to gather twice a month and build a group of friends over time, so when we gather, it feels like hanging out with “your crew” - a group you can have fun with, be supported by, and have deeper meaning and impact with!

Gathering Flow:

✨️6:35pm: Settle in/Self-Warm-up
****Doors close at 7pm***

✨️7:00pm: Opening Circle + Connection 💞
✨️7:15pm: Community Dance Ritual 🏞
✨️7:40pm: Open Dance 💃🏽🕺🏿💃🏻🕺🏼 to curated playlist of world music 🎶
And, enjoy spaces to socialize 🪑
✨️8:40pm: Closing Circle: Sharing + Community Exchange 🔁
✨️9pm: Close

Sliding scale: $15-$25

Three options:
*Pre-register via Eventbrite (encouraged as we may sell out!)

Parking & Directions:

🚗Plenty of free parking around church
🚗Park closest to upper lot near "A-shaped" cathedral; closer to dance space
➡️To enter: Follow path to right of Cathedral entrance and enter via red door.

What to Bring / Wear:

💞 Aligned friends!
🚰 Water or non-alcoholic drink of choice (there is tap water in church, but not filtered)
✨️Clothing you feel comfortable/inspired to dance in
✨️Optional: Mat/blanket/cushion to sit, lie down, or cuddle on (this is a good idea, as the floor is a bit harder)
✨️Optional: Anything you want to share with group (i.e., items you make, event flyers, biz cards, etc.) 🔃
✨️Note: Please be mindful of fragrances like smoke, perfumes, colognes, and essential oils. Reducing scents makes our space accessible to those with sensitivities.

Mini Integrative Embodiment Sessions available with Embody to Evolve:

✨️If you’re experiencing any stress, pain or discomfort,
✨️Integrative Embodiment expert Pierre-Andre Etienne of Embody to Evolve will be available for 10 min. mini sessions.
✨️$20 additional contribution via Venmo or cash.

• However, the nearest accessible bathroom is in another part of the building near the playground, requiring travel outside or by car.

• No dance experience required; all styles of movement and dance welcome!
• Geared towards adults 21+.
• Substance-free space.
• All people with an open, positive attitude who can maturely manage their needs and emotions, and respect others' experiences, identities, and boundaries are welcome.
• We welcome people of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and backgrounds in an inclusive and affirming environment.

Jen is a Community Dance Leader and Ceremonial Dance Artist through her organization Dance for Humanity.

She is most passionate about gathering and leading dance lovers into deeper, more meaningful connection with themselves, each other and our planet via nourishing, intentional dance, community exchange, connection to nature, and regenerative impact for our greatest possible personal, collective, and planetary thriving.
