Join The Breath Nurse for a hour of rejuvenating breathwork experience designed to help you quiet your mind, release stress and tension, and restore balance- so you can feel more connected, centered, and alive!
Held inside the cave, this transformative offering blends the benefits of salt therapy with deep, guided breathwork to support relaxation, renewal, and the restoration of your whole being. Come as you are, and leave feeling grounded, clear, and restored. All levels are welcome- no prior breathwork experience is needed. Participants must be 18+ and in good health. This practice is not recommended for those who are pregnant or think they may be, or who have serious, severe, or uncontrolled physical or mental health conditions. Please read the following information to ensure you are prepared for breathwork:
How to prepare and what to bring:
Dress comfortably and in layers.
Bring socks to wear in the cave.
Please arrive with a light stomach. Avoid consuming a large/heavy meal or large amounts of liquids prior to arrival.
Please bring a water bottle- you are welcome to drink water outside the cave.
Please avoid consumption of alcohol or recreational substances prior to and during class.
If you have asthma, please bring your inhaler with you in case you need it.
Please silence your cell phone upon arrival.
If needed, please use the restroom before we get started.
Conscious connected breathwork (also known as circular breathwork) is generally a very safe practice. However, if an individual has or has had in the past any of the following conditions, it is suggested that they consult with their primary care physician prior to participating in breathwork:
Heart disease or irregularities
Heart attack
Uncontrolled high blood pressure
Angina (chest pain)
Glaucoma
Retinal detachment
Osteoporosis (especially severe whereby moving around actively could cause harm)
Stroke, TIA, or other brain/neurological condition or disease
Recent and significant physical injuries or illnesses/surgeries (especially within 6-8 weeks)
Severe mental illness (Eg. schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression)
Epilepsy or seizure disorders
Aneurysm (of the brain or abdomen) or family history of two immediate family members with aneurysm
This practice is also not suggested for individuals who are pregnant, think they may be pregnant, or are recently postpartum (within 6-8 weeks). Modifications and/or condition exceptions may apply. The Breath Nurse can speak with you privately about any participation restrictions or concerns that you may have.
