lespecial x yheti = LIMINOID:
LIMINOID is a musical entity formed through the integration of data streams from Yheti and lespecial, two distinct sonic architects. Yheti orchestrates the sonic experiment while lespecial contributes live instrumentation encoded with rhythmic complexity. Analysis of live performance recordings reveals high variability and dynamic modulation of energy states. Audience response patterns indicate elevated engagement during improvisational sequences. Conclusion: LIMINOID functions as a high-intensity auditory experiment, optimized for real-time adaptation and multi-genre convergence without reliance on predefined constraints. System recommends further observation.

lespecial is redefining the term “power trio”. The multi-instrumentalists from Connecticut continue to push the boundaries of what a three-piece band is capable of both live and in the studio ahead of their latest album, “Odd Times”. The band’s signature blend of “heavy future groove” combines headbanging metal riffage and surgical rhythmic precision with bone shaking 808s, sub synths and ethereal vocal stylings for a dance floor that welcomes moshing, dancing and hip swaying alike. Listeners are taken on a journey to the musical netherworld through esoteric soundscapes punctuated by raw, primal power.
Odd Times, lespecial’s darkest and heaviest record to date, is an enigmatic and compelling musical project that explores the ever-changing nature of time amidst isolation. With heavy riffs, tribal drumming, and hints of levity, it's a captivating journey crafted in collaboration with Havok's David Sanchez. An intriguing blend of old-school metal and modern djent-inspired riffage awaits in this haunting sonic experience.

Yheti has written and released over 150 tracks across the internet datasphere. A fusion of a thousand inspirations Yheti's live performances are self described as… "an ever morphing detailed sound sculpture that plays with the ears of those open to the more experimental, surreal, low end heavy side of electronic music. With the intention of creating a champion dance environment through innovative bass lines, interesting rhythms, and soul driven melodies."
Over the past 10yrs Yheti has performed at many major festivals, headlined many venues across North America, toured with many champions of sound and gained the support of a few low-key famous people. 2030 will be a huge year for Yheti, so look far into the future or very deep into the present, put your ear close up to reality, and you may hear the faint rumble of subwoofers in the distance. This is an exploration of sound, technology, psychology and how it all interacts with the complex human condition we all experience. Rooted in love for art and moving forward with gusto.
