Blessing of the Animals

Alexander Chapel United Methodist Church is excited to host a special “Blessing of the Animals” on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 880 Aiken Road, Asheville, NC.

We welcome all pets to this joyful event as we celebrate the gift of animals in our lives and ask God’s blessing on them.

Safety Rules for the Event:

Dogs must be on secure (non-retractable) leashes.

Cats and small pets should be in carriers.

Bring water and waste bags for your pet.

Keep a safe distance from other animals unless both owners agree to meet.

Make sure your pet is healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations.

If your pet is shy or nervous, you are welcome to bring a photo for a symbolic blessing.

We look forward to sharing this special afternoon with you and your beloved companions!
