Ashby Civic Society talk - Life of a Master Thatcher

Our next event is on Tuesday 14th October at St Helen's Heritage Centre, 7.30pm start.

We have Mr David Wood coming to talk about the Life of a Master Thatcher. This unusual craft has been practised for many centuries and Mr Wood has travelled far and wide providing a huge range of roofs. He has over 40 years experience in the craft.

Come and visit us! All welcome. This is free for members and just £4 on the door for non members (cash or card).
