Alright, alright - no pleasantries this time, just the nitty gritty: We have an awesome house band lined up for our Second Sunday Jazz Jam at Mintons Academy of Music this Sunday, July 13th at our Studio M! You're invited; the password is "fidelio."
You - ya beautiful jazz-loving so-and-so! - are, or course, the staaahr of our monthly jam session. But this month, we've lined up a special quartet of musicians to support you. We're finally getting our long-awaited appearance at Mintons from saxophonist Bernard Whitney, who'll be joining new house bander Nick Aparcio on guitar, and old heads (not dead) Eugenio Ibarz on bass, and Drum E. McDrummerson sur le kit (Dan). It's going to be wonderful to hear YOU with these guys, so please make plans to beat the heat in our air conditioned performance space. Bring your instrument, a friend or two, and your Positive Mental Attitude! Let's see if we can prove The Who and Eddie Cochran wrong and find the cure for the summertime blues!
