I am sure many, like us, spent sleepless nights last week wondering where Arnie was, whether he was safe, being fed, or had a cool place to rest his innocent head. My friends and I have signed the petition for Arnies Law, but we also want to honour him in a way that reflects the love he was denied. Arnie was betrayed by the person he trusted most, discarded while Nathan took the fame and sympathy, as he lay lonely and confused to his final breath.
I promise you Arnie, countless tears have been shed for you by people who never met you but cared deeply.
If you would like to join us walking in Arnies memory, we will be walking from Hercules Street Park in Hamilton to New Farm on Sunday the 30th with our fur babies by our side.
