Beginner-Friendly Run Group

Join this free community-focused, beginner-friendly group run every week in Asbury Park.

Our route is 2 miles total, out and back. You choose your own distance and pace. (Walking is fine too.)

This group isn't about setting PRs as much as it is an excuse to be active with friends in a fun environment.

Who is the organizer?

My name is Alex McBrairty, I'm a fitness coach who moved to NJ in 2023 from Michigan. Since I didn't know many people, I had to rebuild my social network. That sparked a growing interest in community-oriented activities.

That's what sparked the idea for this weekly event. If we aren't having fun with cool people, we're doing it wrong.
