2024年夏、心臓のカテーテル治療を受けて、リハビリテーション中のキャメロンが日本を訪れ、一緒にロングライドをしているときに、「日本の素晴らしい環境で、日本のアスリートのために、何か、自分が出来ることを提供してみたい！」
そう語ったキャメロンの思いが実現したトライアスロンキャンプです。
アイアンマンレジェンド・キャメロンブラウンをヘッドコーチに迎え、キャメロンのトレーニング理論や技術哲学を日本のトライスリートに紹介します！

1972年生まれ（53才・2025年現在）
高校在学時にトライアスロンに出会い、ジュニア・ニュージーランド選手権で優勝。
高校を卒業後、1990年からプロキャリアをスタート。
2000年シドニーオリンピックの出場を目標にITUレースを中心にキャリアを積んできたが、オリンピアンになる夢は叶わず、1997年に初アイアンマンに挑戦し、
2001年のアイアンマンニュージーランドで初優勝を飾る。
以後のキャリアは言うに及ばない。
アイアンマン・ニュージーランド優勝12回。

2023年3月、25回目の出場となったアイアンマン・ニュージーランドに出場し、51歳でプロカテゴリー7位でフィニッシュ。
世界中、これだけ長く、トッププロとして、世界の最前線で戦い続けてきたトライアスリートは「Cameron Brown」ただ一人、唯一無二のレジェンドです。
（昨年（2024年）2月に心臓のカテーテル治療を受けてからはレース出場を控えている）

◇参加資格
・レースの出場経験は必要ありませんが、ハーフアイアンマン（程度）を完走する実力を有すると自負できる方。
・スポーツ傷害保険にご自身で加入済みの方。
・GPSサイクルコンピューターでルート機能を使える方。
・事故を除く、トレーニング中のトラブルに自分自身で対応出来る方。
・他のキャンプ参加メンバーと協調して楽しくトレーニング出来る方。

15:00〜16:30 スイム（フォーミング中心）
17:00〜18:30 座学（レースに向けた期別けトレーニングについて）
19:00〜 夕食（自由参加）
2日（土）
9:00〜13:00 バイク100km（要所でレースペースを入れたロングライド）
＊富良野方面にメロンを食べに行く予定です。
15:00〜 ラン（60〜90分のジョッグの中で、キャメロンによる個別のフォームチェックなど）
16:30〜 スイム（忠別湖でオープンウオータースイム、翌日のコースチェックとして軽めに）
19:00〜 夕食（自由参加）
3日（日）
9:00〜 ハーフアイアンマン・レースシュミレーション練習会
スイム約1.5km〜2.0km（忠別湖の水位によるため）
バイク約90km（忠別湖周辺）
ラン約21km（忠別湖周辺）
＊距離は体調などに合わせて自己判断で調整可
17:00〜 懇親会・夕食（自由参加）
4日（月）
9:00〜10:30 スイム（フォーミング中心）

◇Introduction
In the summer of 2024, Cameron was coming to my place for rehabilitation after cardiac catheterization at February 2024.
And we were talking about, we would like to do something for Japanese athletes in this beautiful places of Japan.
Then this triathlon camp is our dream come true.
We welcome Ironman Legend Cameron Brown as our head coach and will be introducing Cameron's training theory and technical philosophy to Japan's triathlete!

◇About Cameron Brown
Born in 1972 (53 years old as of 2025)
While attending school, Cameron competed in high school triathlons and won the Junior New Zealand Championships.
After graduating, Cameron began his professional career in 1990.
Cameron built his career mainly in ITU races with the goal of competing in the 2000 Sydney Olympics, but his dream does not come true, so he tried his first Ironman in 1997.
And won his first Ironman New Zealand in 2001.
His future career is not to mention impressive.
Won the Ironman New Zealand 12 times.

In March 2023, he will compete in his 25th Ironman New Zealand, finishing 7th in the professional category at the age of 51.
Cameron Brown is the only triathlete in the world who has competed at the forefront as a top professional for such a long time.
He is a real legend.
(He has refrained from racing since undergoing cardiac catheterization in February last year 2024.)

◇Training base
Maebashi City and Annaka City Gunma Prefecture

◇Capacity
Around 20 people
(If there are less than 10 participants, the event will be canceled)
◇Eligibility
- Race experience is not required, but participants must be confident that they have the ability to complete a half Ironman (or equivalent).
- Participants must have insurance by your self..
- Participants must be able to use the route function on a GPS cycle computer.
- Participants must be able to handle problems during training by their own, excluding accidents.
- Participants must be able to enjoy training in cooperation with other camp participants.

14:00-14:30 Gathering and briefing
15:00-16:30 Swim (forming focus)
17:00-18:30 Classroom (about training for different periods in preparation for races)
19:00- Dinner (free participation)
Saturday, 2nd
9:00-13:00 Bike 100km (long ride with race pace at some points)
*We will go to Furano area to eat delicious melon.
15:00- Run (60-90 minute jog with individual form checks by Cameron, etc.)
16:30- Swim (open water swim at Lake Chubetsu, light as a course check for the next day)
19:00- Dinner (free participation)
3rd (Sun)
9:00- Half Ironman race simulation practice session
Swim approx. 1.5km - 2.0km (depending on the water level of Lake Chubetsu)
Bike approx. 90km (around Lake Chubetsu)
Run approx. 21km (around Lake Chubetsu)
17:00- Social gathering and dinner (free participation)
Monday, 4th
9:00-10:30 Swim (mainly forming)
11:00- Summary, Lunch, Dismissal
For both the bike and run, training will be divided into 2-3 groups based on ability, and will be conducted on a circular course or a round trip course.
Cameron will join each group and provide individual advice.
