The hearse is leaving co-op funeral home Horsham at approximately 10:35 am to make its way via Whiteways Bury hill to meet with the bike escort.
Going to the Arun crematorium for 12:00
Man down! Man down! Sadly, I would like to announce the passing of one of our biker community, Riccardo. Ricc was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed at 08.50 Mon 14th July after a very short and severe illness aged 63.
An honest and genuinely all round good egg, Ricc was one of those people that would genuinely help anyone out of a fix. I've truly lost one of my oldest friends.
30 years of bike holidays and thousands of miles ridden together.
We were planning a grand tour for his 65th birthday.
He will genuinely be missed by those who knew and loved him.
I would like to ask if you would like to be part of a short ride to see off one of our own in a fashion befitting a fellow Biker.
it would mean a lot to me and furthermore his wife who he leaves behind, she asked me to make this happen.
I’m not a member of any groups and definitely not a magician, my personal biker friends are few, which is why I am asking the community for help.
Can you spare some time to meet at and follow the hearse to the Arun Crematorium just 8 miles away. It would be fantastic to see and hear some bikes for his final departure from one of our favourite ride out destinations.
In years gone by Ricc and I would visist Bury Hill regularly, even on Christmas Day with a flask of good coffee with a shot of Jack Daniels.
I’m not asking for people to attend the service, just to escort my Buddy the final few miles.
