You are warmly invited to take part in the Shiva Temple anniversary – a day that brings together the power of sacred ceremony, the peace of the temple, and the beauty of a living tradition.
The main ceremony begins at 12:00 at the Shiva Temple. During the ceremony, you’re welcome to actively participate – by taking part in the abhisheka ritual and bringing offerings (prasadi) for the temple, such as flowers, fruits, or milk. These offerings will be blessed and later shared with all participants.
Starting from 11:00, the information and sales booth with temple souvenirs will be open, along with the café and the opportunity to explore the Lilleoru center and temple grounds.
Ceremonies, bhajans (devotional songs), dances, temple items, and delicious food will create an atmosphere that is both sacred and joyful throughout the day.
After the ceremony, the day continues with a good time together over tea, light snacks, and a potluck table – you are welcome to bring something along to share if you wish.
Some workshops will also take place, where you are invited to explore spiritual symbols and discover elements of temple culture. A children’s area will be open, where kids can draw and engage in simple creative activities.
In the evening at 20:30, aarti will take place at the temple.

The Shiva Temple anniversary is jointly organized by the Estonian and Indian communities, bringing together diverse traditions, people, and living experiences.
