PACC Concert Series: An Afternoon with the Saxyderms

On Saturday, May 10th at 3 PM, Park Avenue Congregational Church (PACC) is pleased to welcome The Saxyderms, New England’s favorite all saxophone and percussion ensemble, for a lively concert. Come experience for yourself how the Saxyderms create a warm, caring, and fun environment for audiences and musicians alike, while offering an eclectic mix of songs across multiple genres of music.
Reserved tickets are a lower price ($18 for Adults, and $12 for Seniors/Students) and will be held for you for payment at the door. If purchased on the day of the concert without advanced reservations, tickets are $23 for Adults, and $15 for Seniors and Students.

In 2006, two members of Tufts University’s Wind Ensemble realized there was a great deal of interest in the saxophone not only among students attending Tufts and neighboring colleges, but also among graduates living in the Boston area. That was the start of their dream to create a larger saxophone ensemble, which has since become independent of Tufts, offering concerts at a wide variety of venues including art fairs, nursing homes, and outdoors in parks.

Park Avenue Congregational Church is located at 50 Paul Revere Road at the intersection of Park Avenue and Paul Revere Road, one block up from Mass. Ave. in Arlington Heights. It is handicapped accessible and on MBTA route 77.
