Join friends and neighbors on Wednesday, July 16th from 6:00-8:30 at the Sunderland Elementary School to vote on what actions are most important for the future of Sunderland! There will be a free dinner and childcare available.
Through forums and surveys, community members have shared their ideas for the future. On July 16th, we’ll gather to:
Review the community’s brainstormed list of action ideas.
Discuss and champion which are most important.
Vote on the priorities you want to move forward.
Sunderland Shines is a 3-month Community Visit process to help the community connect, brainstorm ideas, choose important priorities, and take action for the future. The process is facilitated by the Vermont Council on Rural Development (VCRD), a neutral nonprofit organization that has led Community Visits in over 90 Vermont towns.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend for the discussion and voting. This is an opportunity to make your voice heard and shape the future.
