Fundamentals of Watercolor: Landscapes Workshop
Join arts educator Natalie Regan in this workshop exploring the fundamentals of landscape watercolor painting! Students will begin by learning how to create a wash, understanding the elements of layering, and creating light and shadow with watercolor paints in a still life painting. During the second part of this workshop, students will create a watercolor landscape painting, integrating their knowledge from their still life and the first part of class. Learn about the dreamy imaginative compositions you can create with watercolors while creating your picturesque landscape. Students are encouraged to bring images of the landscape they would like to paint, but the instructor will provide images for inspiration, or student can use their imagination to create something fantastical!
