● WHEN: Dance 6:00-9:00 pm (it is easy to learn the ropes here)
● WHERE: Arlington Knights of Columbus #109 15 Winslow St Arlington MA 02474.
● WHAT: For a great cause: Coats for Kids The Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities OR EVkids (After covering the cost of holding the dance) & to celebrate the traditions of community dancing! AND you do not even need to know how!
● WHO: It is a public and community shindig! All are welcome AND bring a partner as we partner up there and you will find a partner!
● WHY? To have one heck of a good time and support local charities!

● CALLER: DON HEINOLD hailing from Rhode Island Don Has been calling at dances weddings & parties all over New England for 15 years. Don is also known for teaching the popular Rotary Waltz frequently done at contra dances!
● LIVE MUSIC by: CAMMY KAYNOR on fiddle and JOHN HICKS on guitar! Cammy Kaynor (fiddle) and John Hicks (guitar) have entertained dancers and audiences with their music for the last 50 years separately as members of bands (e.g. Cape Ann Contra Band and Tourner a Trois) and as a duo at community dances and other events. Their repertoire encompassing traditional favorites and original compositions is remarkable for its powerful energy and driving rhythm. It is impossible NOT to dance when they play!
● PARKING: plenty of free & well lighted parking.
● CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR: Just bring clean shoes to dance in to preserve the floor (no high heels please). Dress is comfortable and as you like.
● ROLE TERMS are: "Ladies & Gents" or "Women & Men" but dancers are welcome to choose whatever role that works for them. Some do with no worries.
