Wunderland is opening the doors to our workspace and inviting you to take a sneak peek in the creation of our upcoming installation.
At our ✨first ever Down the Rabbit Hole-event✨, we’re excited to host a hands-on workshop where you’ll help co-create “organs” for one of our sculptures.
The installation draws inspiration from deep time and the origin of plant life. What came before the world as we know it? And how can we explore this through art?🌵
We’re diving into these questions by engaging the senses and working with tactile, living materials. At the heart of the sculpture are these sensory “organs,” designed to awaken curiosity and connection in those who experience them.🫀
A crucial part of Wunderland’s DNA is the transformation of the static into the living. We work with a wide range of materials—textiles, silicone, wool, cord, metal, wood, fibers, yarn, and more—to breathe life into our creations.🧶🌿
The workshop will be led by visual artist Signe Klejs and Mette Aakjær. They will introduce different materials and techniques for crafting the organs—and guide you in incorporating your own creativity into the process.
🔸This is a pay-what-you-can event, and all materials will be provided by Wunderland. However, if you have a material you love or find inspiring, feel free to bring it along!🔸
🎁 As a small gift, all participants will receive a 10% discount on their Chronarium performance ticket. Plus, you'll have the chance to take home your own mini organ.
