The days are becoming longer and brighter. Plants are growing and regaining their colour. Summer is approaching - also in the Café Mellemfolk’s yard at Mejlgade 53. We can’t wait to welcome you outdoors for food, music, workshops, markets, and all kinds of events happening every second Saturday throughout the summer.

🌞17th of May at 13:00 - Outdoor BBQ with the MS Kitchen
The MS kitchen will host an outdoor BBQ in the yard. Catch with late sun rays while enjoying good food, cold drinks and smooth rhythms.
🌞31st of May at 14:00 - Yard Graff get-together
Ready to unleash your inner street artist? Join us for a graffiti get-together where you’ll learn the tricks of the trade and create your own masterpiece! No experience needed—just bring your creativity!
Please note: To participate, you’ll need to bring a white bed sheet to use as your canvas.

🌞14th of June at 18:00 - DJ gig with Mumoxxo
Mumoxxo, a female artist hailing from Athens, discovered her passion for DJing in Aarhus. Through her DJing, she seeks to express herself and curate a captivating musical experience that empowers individuals to freely express their true selves, creating an energizing and liberating journey for all. Her DJ sets include a diverse range of genres, blending elements of electro dance, captivating mid-eastern melodies, and dynamic tech house.

🌞14th of July at 15:00 - Århus Jazz Festival Concert with The Three Body Problem
As a part of the Århus Jazz Festival, The Three Body Problem will bring a musical experience that balances the grand with the minimalist, and the crafted with the natural-futuristic synthesizer sounds paired with the tactile horn melodies.
* Please note, unlike the other events this Concert is on a Monday
🌞26th of July at 12:00 - REKO Marked
REKO Aarhus is a community that supports direct trade between local consumers and food producers with monthly markets in the Aarhus area. This Saturday, the REKO market will take place in the MS yard.
Come by and bring home some delicious local goods.

🌞9th of August at 15:00 - Concert with Jon Toft
Jon Toft is a singer/songwriter with a twinkle in his eye. His lyrics blend humor with a dystopian twist, and his music features odd time signatures and rhythmic playfulness that keep listeners on their toes.

🌞6th of September at ** - Concert with De4maver
The Aarhus-based jazz band "De 4 Maver" is known for creating a great atmosphere wherever they play - from streets and alleys to bars and cafés. The jazz quartet will bring their piano on wheels to the MS yard for a live performance. Expect music, cold drinks and spontaneous dance.
