VOPA (Vocal Painting) er et kraftfuldt redskab til vokal improvisation, hvor håndtegn bruges til at guide sangere i at skabe musik sammen her og nu. Til workshoppen bruges vopa-systemet let og intuitivt, så alle kan være med.
VOPA er udviklet af Jim Daus Hjernøe, og det muligt for dirigenter og sangere at forme musikken her og nu. Tegnene er nemme at følge, hvilket gør det sjovt og tilgængeligt for alle at være med.
VOPA har rødder i Soundpainting-metoden og er blevet en central del af The Intelligent Choir-tilgangen. Har du interesse for at dirigere kor vil det også være spændende at opleve VOPA live til workshoppen.

VOPA (Vocal Painting) is a powerful tool for live vocal improvisation, using hand signals to guide singers in creating music together on the spot.
Developed by Professor Jim Daus Hjernøe from Denmark, this interactive system allows conductors and singers to shape music in real time—adding harmonies, changing rhythm or key, and creating entirely new soundscapes. The signals are easy to follow, making it fun and accessible for everyone to join in. Rooted in the Soundpainting method, VOPA has become a key part of The Intelligent Choir approach.
