Ice Theatre of New York will participate in the third Dick Button Artistic Figure Skating Festival in PA on October 4th & 5th 2025.

The festival is being held at the Philadelphia Skating Club and Humane Society in conjunction with their 2nd Annual Fundraising Gala Celebrating the Legacy of Dick Button. Dick Button was a member of the Philadelphia Skating Club during his skating career.
The performance will take place on Saturday, October 4 at 7PM. The ice dance companies will be joined by local skaters and skating champions.
ITNY will perform three pieces by dance choreographers.

-La Revolte Des Enfants, choreographed by Alberto Del Saz, and performed by Sarah Baetge, Ale Izquierdo, and Libby McGrosky.
-Once Again, choreographed by Heather Harrington, performed by Sarah France and Aaron Singletary.
-Arctic Memory, choreographed by Jody Sperling and performed by Valerie Levine.

The celebration continues Sunday, October 5, 2025, with a six-hour Artistic Skating Symposium, offering audiences and skaters the rare opportunity to engage directly with the art form. Through master classes, workshops, and performances, participants will explore the depth of Button’s influence on modern skating.
ITNY will teach an on-ice choreography class, taught by ensemble member Sarah France 10:45 – 11:30 am. At the end of Lorna Brown’s on-ice class 3:15 – 3:45 pm, ITNY ensemble members Liz Yoshiko Schmidt and Danil Berdnikov will perform her choreography, Timelessness. Full schedule here.
