Saturday May 17th, 10am - 4pm
A monotype is a unique, one of a kind, handmade print, created by drawing or painting an image onto a plate and transferring this to paper.
In this workshop participants will develop their own approach to this spontaneous, painterly medium, creating several monotype prints.
We will explore monochrome mark-making exercises, work with wipe-out, direct painting, and tonking to make prints.
This workshop is suitable for professional artists as well as beginners.
Materials supplied. Please bring an apron!
