Participants will learn how to harvest and prepare wood for baking charcoal at home.
David will demonstrate tools and techniques for working in this versatile medium.
Timbers include ivy, cramp ball, cork, oak, willow, pine, and driftwood.
In this workshop we will explore mark making exercises, and develop tone, line, pattern, form and volume, through drawing from imagination and from observation.
Materials supplied, limited to ten places.
