Shofar at the Marsh

For thousands of years Jewish communities have had the custom of meeting by a body of water on the first day of Rosh Hashanah to do "Tashlich" or "cast away" any negativity from the past year and commit to filling ourselves up and sharing goodness and positivity for the upcoming year!

With everything going on in the Holy Land, and its repercussions around the world, it has been a tough year. The world is chaotic right now. Please come together and we'll blow the Shofar heralding in a happy, sweet new year!

When: Tuesday September 23rd at 6:00pm

Where: Arcata Marsh, Klopp Lake at the end of South I st.
Take I st south from downtown Arcata all the way to the parking lot at the end.
