Come along to explore the gardens and nursery at Ashbrook.
As part of Scotland's Gardens Scheme, our nursery, and the gardens of Cabrach House will be open. Entry is £6 for adults and free for children, with proceeds split between charities supported by Scotland's Garden Scheme and the Arbroath Town Band.
In addition, to the open nursery and garden, we are offering tours of our nursery so that you can see what goes on behind the scenes of a commercial nursery, and learn a bit about the history of Ashbrook. There is no extra charge to join a tour, but spaces are limited so we would suggest booking in advance. There will be live music in the garden from Arbroath Town Band, who will also be serving teas, coffees, and cakes.
You can also visit our 'Woodland Wander'. This is open year round, and is situated next to our café.
Nursery tours will be held at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm and will last approximately 1 hour.
As children go free, there is no need to book a ticket for them, however, if you will have children accompanying you for one of the tours, please add a comment during checkout.
When you arrive, you should register your attendance with a volunteer who will be located opposite the greenhouse. You can also pay on the day.
Note that the site is generally flat and wheelchair accessible, although you should be prepared to cross grass, gravel, and other uneven surfaces.

Getting Here
You will be able to use our existing car parking facilities for the garden centre, but it may be busier than usual, so we would suggest car sharing where possible. There are also bus stops for both directions just a short walk along the road from the garden centre.
