Pottery Mugs!

Skill level: beginner. This class will teach you how to create hand-made mugs. Each student will have slabs of clay with variety of tools to create textures & designs. Hand-building techniques will be taught such as rolling, pinching, & coiling. Learn to create a comfortable handle for your personalize mug. If time permits, students may also create a tray to hold their mug. There will be 3 colors to choose for glazing. Glazing will be done by Heidi at the Cub Creek Foundation*. Students may come to glaze their own work at CCF if desired. $65 per student

Instructor: Heidi is the Executive Director at Cub Creek Foundation, a local ceramics program near Appomattox. Heidi has 25 ears of ceramic experience including a BFA from Northern Arizona Universitey & MFA from Utah State University. She is excited to share her ceramic experience with the local area!
