Join us on Tuesday, July 8th at McFleshmans for our monthly songwriting workshop.
We're a casual group that welcomes all skill levels and genres of music. We've had everything from rock to country to folk to musical theatre to metal to pop and more.
You also don't need to be a performer to be a songwriter. It's the opportunity to get with fellow creatives and encourage one another to keep the creative juices flowing.

MONTHLY SONGWRITING WORKSHOP
When: 7-9pm every 2nd Tuesday of the month
Where: 3rd Floor of McFleshman's Brewing Co., 115 S State St, Appleton, WI 54911
This event is free and open to all skill levels.
We do ask participants to support McFleshman’s by buying a drink or two while they are here. (**This event is for ages 21 and up.)
What to bring:
· your awesome self
· your instrument (vocals, acoustic, electric, etc. –-bring whatever ya got)
· at least 5 printed copies of your song's lyrics – if it has lyrics
· pen/pencil and paper
· an openness to give and receive constructive feedback
What can you expect:
-Each artist will share their respective songs with the group.
-The group will provide constructive feedback on possible changes to lyrics or music--all of which are optional to use; however, that feedback is helpful in developing ideas.
-So, having an open mind and willingness to not only accept but also give feedback is essential.
-We are fully in support of working on songs during these workshop sessions!
**You are welcome to bring more than one song . Sometimes, we have time to go through more than one song per person.
What you’ll get:
· connection with fellow songwriters (and opportunities to co-write with each other)
· real time feedback you can use (or not)
· strengthen your workshopping chops
To keep this workshop space free and open to all, we are not affiliated with any songwriting organizations. Should anyone want info on songwriting orgs, feel free to ask. We will have resource information if you want it.
