Lawrence Summer Music Institute

Are you an advanced high school musician who wants to take your skills to the next level? Join us at the Lawrence Summer Music Institute. Open in 2025 to advanced pianists and string players.

Led by world-class instructors and musicians, the Lawrence Summer Music Institute offers an immersive environment that provides the support and inspiration needed for young musicians to develop their craft. From practicing and refining technical skills to exploring musical expression and interpretation, you will experience a comprehensive approach to music-making.

WHEN: Sunday, July 6-Sunday, July 13, 2025
WHERE: Lawrence University
WHO: Open to students currently in grades 8-12, including those graduating high school in 2025
> Instruments accepted: piano, violin, viola, cello, double bass
COST: $950 tution + $335 lodging + $290 meals (options available for commuters)
DEADLINE: Apply by June 1, 2025
