My First Crochet Cardigan – The Kose Vest
Date: Saturday, October 18th; 10:00am-1:00pm &
Saturday, October 25th, November 8th, 15th; 10:00am-12:00pm. **NOTE NO CLASS NOV 1**
Cost: $90 per student, maximum 10 students
Description: Crochet the perfect fall cardigan, wear it all year long! We’ll work on gauge swatches and sizing to get you the perfect fit. Then we’ll work through the pattern together from learning the stitches to seaming, blocking and finishing touches! This tops down, classic pattern is perfect for customizing fit and making a handmade garment you’ll love to wear.
Tools and Supplies:
Yarn - Light Bulky (or equivalent gauge) weight yarn, approx. 1181 – 2138 yds depending on the size you choose
Hook – US J (6.0mm) and US H (5.0mm) hooks or size to meet gauge
Notions – tapestry needle, scissors, 5 stitch markers, 5-8 buttons, blocking supplies. All tools and supplies are available at Casting On for an additional cost.
Pattern: Kose Vest by Jimya Hoevers €6 can be purchased and downloaded from Ravelry, no in store option from designer.
What you need to know: How to chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and slip stitch.
