America in Song... the Hopes, Dreams, and Fears of a Young Nation

America's journey can be told through the music of our people. It stretches across the Atlantic Ocean back to the Old World. Songs tell the story of the ordinary and extraordinary people who have lived and developed our young country. America in Song follows a musical path from the Colonial Period and American Revolution through the music of the Sea of Immigration and through the Twentieth Century.

The Appleton Boychoir and special guest Matthew Sabatella will share ballads, railroad and cowboy songs, work songs, sea chanties, Appalachian, and musical stories we simply call folk songs. Don’t miss this very special spring concert…AMERICA IN SONG…the Hopes, Dreams and Fears of a Young Nation.
