About the event

Day 2 of Forgotten Coast Parrot Head Music Fest- King, Suggs, Kraus & Mulch @ AYC!
Don’t miss Day 2 of the inaugural Trop Rock music fest honoring Jimmy Buffet day, put together by the Forgotten Coast Parrot Heads with 15 musicians playing at 7 different venues through Franklin County Labor Day Weekend! All donations go to the Franklin County music program!!

Krystal King is your “next door redneck,” bringing you relatable country songwriting with vivid and humorous imagery. Like her alter ego, Loretta Lynn, she's not afraid to say what she is thinking- whether that's diving into heartfelt emotions or picking on her husband in songs like "You're the Reason That I Drink." Originally from Hickory, NC, King is now based out of Nashville and tours Nationally. Additionally a SiriusXM DJ for Radio Margaritaville.

Del Suggs has graced our stage before and he’s one not to miss!
"The original Trop Rocker..."
Del Suggs is a singer/songwriter and guitarist from the beaches of North Florida and is recognized as one of the pioneers of “Trop Rock." Early in his career, Del coined the term "saltwater music" to describe his style. He is included in the book “Trop Rock Songs: Stories and Tales” by Andy Forsyth, and his songs are frequently covered by other Trop Rock artists-- his song “Magic Chair” was the title track John Reno's third album, and is featured on Skip Crowther's latest release. Del was a founder of the Florida Chapter of The Recording Academy (The Grammy Awards), has been inducted into the National Campus Entertainment Hall of Fame, and named one of the "Top Five Artists of the Past 25 Years" by Campus Activities Magazine.

Kirstie Kraus is fresh off her duet release 'Largo' with Mike Nash and winning the 2024 Radio Trop Rock's Song of the Year Award for her duet single 'Tide Down' with Mark Mulch. Kraus also took home the Artist of the Year Country at the Grand Ole Opry this past October. Kraus has opened for many household names and played major festivals including South Florida Fair, The Strawberry Festival, MOTB, Parrothead Rendezvous, Biloxi Box Set and has been featured on BBC Breakfast (UK News) and WSM Radio (Nashville's Oldest Country Radio and the Grand Ole Opry Radio Station). Kraus has been featured on the Phlockers Magazine cover, has written with many of the trop rock artists she now calls family, and is excited to be here to meet new Phriends!

Mark Mulch made the big move from his home in New Jersey to Nashville in January of 2006. In the 19 years Mark has been writing in Nashville he has written with some of the top names in the Nashville songwriting community including: Dave Gibson, Dylan Altman, Rose Falcon, Billy Falcon, Jeff Middleton, Michael Heeney, Mike Dekle and more. In the past few years Mark has turned to the production and artist development side of things. Writing with and producing young up and coming artists Jessi Pugh, Born Sisters, Eva Katherine, Maddie Georgi and more. Mark’s first ever solo record entitled “LIVIN’ IT UP” is now available on all download and streaming platforms. Produced by Mark, Daniel Dennis and longtime friend and collaborator Jim Kimball (Reba). In 2020 Mark’s cover of “Christmas Must Be Tonight” was licensed by Sony Music and included on the compilation CD “Christmas Wonderland” alongside such Legendary artist like Elvis Presley, Mariah Carey, Willie Nelson, Dean Martin, *NSYNC, Dolly Parton and more! Recorded at Welcome to 1979 Studios in Nashville TN direct to tape.
