Let’s kick off August with a local classic. Wind Cave Trail offers sweeping desert views, sharp inclines, and that iconic “cave” nestled into the mountain face. This trail is a solid challenge without being too technical—expect steep climbs, loose rocks, and some light scrambling.

⚠️ Note: Beyond a certain point, the terrain is not suitable for dogs—please plan accordingly.

🌵 Whether you're new to the Trail Life crew or a seasoned hiker, this is a great trail to push yourself while connecting with the local hiking community.

🕕 Meet at the trailhead at 6:00 AM, we hike out at 6:15 AM.
