This one-day Avalanche Safety Training is designed to build essential awareness and rescue skills for off-piste and backcountry skiing. The experience combines short ski touring ascents using skins with practical field exercises, focusing on understanding snow conditions, recognizing avalanche risks, and making safe decisions in alpine terrain.
Through a balance of theory and hands-on practice, participants learn to use transceiver, probe, and shovel effectively and apply correct companion rescue procedures. The training is ideal for skiers approaching avalanche safety for the first time, or for those looking to refresh and strengthen their skills before ski touring or freeride outings
