Have you ever seen something unexplainable in the skies? Heard whispers in the wind that couldn’t be explained? Spotted Goldie wandering where no person should be? Or maybe you’ve had a brush with Bigfoot, a ghostly encounter, or a moment of ESP that made your spine tingle?
In the true spirit of Keep Anza Weird, we want to hear YOUR stories — strange sightings, bizarre happenings, and all the weird, wild, and wonderful experiences that make Anza the special place we love.
Join us on Wednesday, August 20th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM for a unique gathering of storytelling, community, and curiosity. We'll be recording these accounts for a special Keep Anza Weird episode of the Fika with Annika podcast!
📍Location: (seeking a place of high strangeness to host) UPDATE: The old ranger station on Juan Diego Flats Rd, just off Tripp Flats Rd, at the base of Cahuilla Mountain Wilderness. It is 1 mile on dirt road, outdoors in a magical meadow/forested area before the Cahuilla Mtn trail. You can do a Tailgate party or picnic or just stop in to tell your experiences.
Whether you’re a believer, a skeptic with a good story, or just curious, come be a part of the weirdness. Bring your tales, your theories, and your open mind.
