Bedoeling van deze dag is arbeiders, vakbonden, politici en klimaatorganisaties samenbrengen om te kijken hoe klimaatactie en sociale rechtvaardigheid kunnen gecombineerd worden in het nadenken over de toekomst van de petrochemische sector in de haven van Antwerpen

Verwelkoming vanaf 9.30u.
De huidige situatie van de petrochemische sector in de haven van Antwerpen wordt toegelicht (10u-10.45) door 2 partners binnen het project (BBL en Fairfin)
Na de pauze start de tweede blok (11-12.30u) waarin 2 keuzes van 3 kwartier kunnen gevolgd worden: 1) voorstelling door de Amerikaanse activisten en hun activiteiten – groepsgesprek met Belgische en Europese activisten 2) groepsgesprek over de angst voor jobverlies binnen de petrochemische sector en 3) actiegroep Ineos Will Fall stelt zichzelf voor met hun voorbije acties
Na de lunch tussen 12.30u en 13.30 vindt een discussie plaats tussen 3 politici: Kathleen van Brempt (Vooruit), Mieke Schauvliege (Groen) en Raf Van Gestel (PVDA), waarin ze hun standpunt en dat van hun partij brengen over de huidige situatie en hoe ze die zien evolueren in de toekomst (tussen 13.30u en 15u). Vanaf 15.30 volgt een conclusie en enkele ideeën voor de toekomst.
De ganse dag lang gaat een tentoonstelling door rond het uitgebrachte krantje ‘Volle Petrol’, foto’s van vorige acties, persberichten, …
Vanaf 17u wordt de dag afgesloten met muziek en gezellig napraten.
Er wordt vertaling voorzien tussen Engels en Nederlands.
