Six Organs of Admittance

Songwriter, zanger en gitarist Ben Chasny - ook bekend van de legendarische Amerikaanse noiserockformatie Comets On Fire - startte in de late jaren 90 zijn Six Organs of Admittance-project. Daarmee werd hij net als Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom en CocoRosie één van de voortrekkers van de new folk-beweging. Na talloze projecten (zoals Badgerlore, August Born, 200 Years, Rangda, …) en meer dan twintig albums, bracht hij het soloalbum Time Is Glass uit op Drag City. Rural-industrial psyched-out new folk om u tegen te zeggen.
