Berlin, pioneer of the underground, moving between improv, noise, turntablism and performance art. You will probably know him as -> Sudden Infant <— and/or as part of the legendary Schimpfluch Gruppe.
Collaborated with half the international scene (Christian Marclay, Shelley Hirsch, Lasse Marhaug, The New Blockaders... the list goes on) and released on labels like Schimpfluch, Tochnit Aleph, PAN, Harbinger Sound and many more.
Presenting his new album "Zungsang" mix of voice, electronics, noise bursts and physical sound poetry. Or as @thewiremagazine put it:
"One of the most prolific and profound artists working where performance and body art meet improvisation and noise."
*Particals*
Particals is a trio of visual and sound artists Justine Grillet, Nina-Joy Thielemans and model, musician and DJ Karina Zharmukhambetova. All based and well embedded in the Antwerp freakscene since some years now. Last year, the trio visited a Lignite Mine in Tagebau Garzweiler in Germany, where they explored the various sound qualities of this brown coal mine. This excurtion led to a series of live gigs and ultimately to this one sided record. One could say it surprisingly sounds a little like early TG or other industrial sound classics.
In essence that is exactly what this is, killer industrial music with an artschool sensitivity to sounds only dogs can hear. Check out their LP on @ultraeczema
