We’re thrilled to welcome back one of the true architects of modern dance culture: THEO PARRISH. His deep Chicago/Detroit soul meets the Black Gravity Dancers in Catch the Step a collision of house, soul, and raw energy on the floor.

This time, he’s bringing his Catch a Step show, making its European debut right here with us.

Catch the Step is more than a performance: it’s a ritual. Every step, every turn, every groove pulls you closer to the core of the dance floor, a space where gravity dissolves and only the force of collective movement remains.
Expect a performance that weaves improvisation, house, and African diasporic dance styles into a powerful dialogue between dancers and audience.
This isn’t about watching, it’s about feeling. Not about following, but about floating together.

Joining him is REDRAY. Best known as a tattoo artist, Tomas also channels his creativity into music under his DJ alias. As Redray, he is known for raw, authentic vinyl sets. Driven by a deep passion for analog sound and sexy boogie grooves. His own productions carry that same spirit, infused with the energy and rhythms of Chicago’s dance culture.

But the experience doesn’t stop there. We’ll kick off the day with an intimate Listening Session at Smudged, accompanied by a soul brunch and Jazz musicians.
