Çaltepe Camping & Canyon Adventure
July 26–27, 2025
A delightful weekend adventure awaits those who wish to escape the summer heat, immerse themselves in nature, and walk through the refreshing waters of the canyon. On this trip, we’ll hike and swim in the Değirmenözü and Çaltepe canyons, located on the Antalya-Isparta border. Depending on your preference, you can choose to camp or stay at a guesthouse.
Accommodation
Pension guests will stay at Erdinç Pension in Çaltepe.
Campers must bring their own tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, and personal camping gear.
Program Schedule
Day 1 – Saturday, July 26
• Departure from Alanya in the morning
• Breakfast break in Manavgat (free time)
• Short market stop for basic needs
• Arrival in Çaltepe & setting up the camp
• Free time before dinner
Day 2 – Sunday, July 27
• After breakfast, canyon hiking begins
Çaltepe Canyon
• 2-hour route with walking and water crossings
• Water shoes are mandatory
• In the approximately 600-meter section of the river that can only be passed by swimming, wearing a life jacket is mandatory. The water in this part is quite cold. Those who do not wish to participate may return to the vehicle and wait for the group.
Değirmenözü Canyon
• 2-hour route with walking in water and swim breaks
• We’ll hike to the spring source and return via a forest path
After changing into dry clothes, we head back to Alanya.
Food & Supplies
There will be a short market stop on the way—feel free to stock up on snacks, drinks, fruits, or nuts.
Participation Fees
• Camping option: 3,350 TL
(Includes transport, dinner & breakfast at the pension, shower and electricity access)
• Pension stay: 4,150 TL (dbl room pp.)
(Includes transport, accommodation, dinner & breakfast)
Single accommodation at the guesthouse can be provided depending on availability. There is an additional fee of 1000 TL.
