Monday, July 28 - Thursday, July 31, 5-7:40 p.m.
All ages are invited - no cost to attend!
We are continuing with evening VBS this year. The reason it is moved to the evening is that all ages are invited to participate—yes, including adults.
All of us, not just kids, can learn more about the Bible, our Christian faith, and the world God loves. Indeed, we are all part of God’s family, God’s good creation. This is part of a larger effort to encourage intergenerational programming at Cross of Hope.
Here are some details for our time together:
*There is no cost to attend. VBS is a ministry of our congregation, and we want everyone to be able to come without a financial burden. You are welcome to make a donation if you want, but it is neither expected nor required.
*Dinner will be served all four nights from 5:00-5:45 pm. Great news - you don’t have to cook!
*We will begin with a short opening worship, with songs and a Bible story.
*Next, we will have stations for kids (crafts, games, storytelling). Kids over 3 years old are invited to attend without a parent chaperone. Children younger than 3 years old may attend stations with an adult to accompany them.
*Adults have a couple options: volunteer at or attend the kids’ stations or take a few hours of free time. You can mix it up throughout the week too!
*Our theme is Road Trip, a curriculum by Cokesbury, which will help us connect with creation, God, one another, and our neighbors.
On Sunday, August 3 we will do day 5 curriculum during the 9:30 am service.
This event is a great opportunity to meet new people, learn new things, and worship God in a unique setting. Try it out! You can register KIDS online by going to www.crossofhope.com/vbs
