Clay Animal Pinch Pots Class at Avant Garden

Join Rum River Art Center at Metta Coffee located inside Avant Garden Bookstore to create a small pot/dish of your pet or favorite animal!

An instructor will guide participants through the steps to handbuild a small (approx. 3” tall) pot for the base of their animal. Next the teacher will show how to create ears out of clay and how to properly attach them. After the pieces are constructed folks will use underglaze to add details and decorations to their piece. No experience is required.

We can hold these events due to the extremely generous donation from Metta Coffee allowing us to use their cafe space.

Your work will be ready for pickup in about 2-3 weeks. It is your responsibility to pick up your pieces within 14 days after they are fired at Rum River Art Center. This class is great for kids, great for adults, great for the whole family!
