Asbury Methodist Church Bible Ancestral Tree Copying Event

Since 1803, Asbury has been a beacon of hope for the community it serves. We are inviting families with lineage in Asbury to join us in preserving the rich history of the oldest African-American church in Annapolis by taking part in the one-day Bible Ancestral Tree Copying Event. Most hardcover bibles have a family tree located in the first few pages. We are inviting families with linkages to Asbury's long history to copy those pages so they can be added to a permanent record of our ancestral preservation repository. We also invite you to tour our church museum with over 100 artifacts covering 222 years of history. You will also be able to view our informative and educational legacy videos capturing the voices of Asbury elders as they revisit our illustrious past
