July 27
0600H Meet up in Tokyo Station
0615H Head to the trailhead of Mt. Fuji
1200H ETA, Jump Off, start climb
1700H ETA Base Camp, dinner, lights off
July 28
0100H Wake up Call
0130H Start Trek
0430H Arrival at the summit of Mt. Fuji
0600H Descend; head back to To jump-off
1000H Back to Tokyo
1500H ETA, Tokyo. Celebrate.
July 29

THINGS TO BRING
The Mt. Fuji hike entails similar preparations and equipment as a Mt. Pulag or Mt. KInabalu hike. Bring your comfortable hiking gear plus warm clothes (fleece jacket, windbreaker, base layers, bonnet, gloves) as well headlamp, trekking pole). No need to bring tent or sleeping bag. A 30-35L daypack is recommended for the Mt. Fuji hike.
ELIGIBILITY
The hike is open to anyone who is physically fit who has sufficient knowledge about basic mountaineering. Participants are expected to be regular hikers who has climbed a minimum of Difficulty 7/9. Of course, there is still time to gain this experience before the hike itself.
