This free field day offers a firsthand look at the practical benefits of rotational grazing through a guided tour of this diverse, multi-species farm led by farmer Brent Glays. You'll see how heritage breeds of sheep, goats, cattle, hogs, and chickens are rotated across 37 acres to naturally improve pasture health, boost forage quality, reduce invasive species, and lower feed and veterinary costs.
The Illinois Grazing Lands Coalition will also be present to share information on their programs, offering valuable resources to help you implement sustainable grazing practices on your own land.
