Uncle Vanya

Chekhov’s tragicomedy about a dysfunctional family and the country property they share has been a perennial favorite since it premiered in 1899 in Moscow. Schmidt’s translation highlights the humor in the conflict between two brothers – the one who left for the city, and the one who remained.
